The club
Forged in Cincinnati, 2018.
Valhalla FC was created with a singular goal: advance to the professional stage of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. That goal grows every year, with every win, until we become the top-tier professional club we are destined to be.
Origin
It started with a crest.
Valhalla FC was officially founded with the creation of its logo in 2018. All within our first year, we were champions of La Liga De Hispana, the Dayton Amateur Soccer League, and Gotham's Champion Cup. After such success in our infancy, our expectations only grew higher.
Anders Michelson — player, coach, marketer, general manager, and owner — still runs the hall from the Queen City. The squad is Cincinnati natives chasing a national cup.
Chronicle
The years
2018
A crest. A club.
Valhalla FC was officially founded with the creation of its logo. In that first year the club were champions of La Liga De Hispana, the Dayton Amateur Soccer League, and Gotham's Champion Cup.
2019
The national stage
Expectations rose. Valhalla entered the USASA National Amateur Cup — the club's first US Soccer tournament. A second Dayton Amateur Soccer League title followed, then a third-place finish at Fort Wayne's US Soccer Tournament of Champions.
2020
The quiet forge
The club entered a more competitive league: the Ohio Valley Premier League. When official games vanished, Valhalla took the empty fields. Scrimmages replaced fixtures. Chemistry was built in the quiet.
2022
The return
Official play resumed. Valhalla won four times in the USASA National Amateur Cup and took the Cincinnati Soccer Festival. The charge stayed the same: Open Cup qualifying, hunting the professional rounds.
2023
Indoor war
That winter the club entered the Professional Arena Soccer League, prepared to make a mark between the boards.
2024–25
The raid widens
Bbuye Manisuul was named OVPL Men's Player of the Year. Valhalla debuted in MASL3, earned a No. 3 seed, and in May 2025 beat Northern Kentucky Nitro 3–1 to reach the Amateur Cup quarterfinals.
2026
Still charging
One club. One war cry. Outdoor OVPL, indoor MASL3, the Open Cup path, and a squad that still plays like the hall is watching. A 3–4 war with Kings Hammer in July closed the summer table.
